How to play
- Five holes a day. Everyone gets the same course. It changes at midnight, your time.
- Drag back from the ball and let go. The further you pull, the harder you putt. Walls bounce, sand slows, water costs a stroke.
- Tap once while it rolls to hop. Click, tap or press space and the ball jumps over water and sand. One hop per putt.
- Then your AI plays the same hole. The course turns into text, because that is all your AI can see, and it putts with one command.
- Fewest strokes wins. A hole is picked up after par plus three.
The moving parts
Most days have a few: drawbridges that rise and fall, portals, windmills, sliding gates, conveyor belts, ice, buttons that open doors, boost pads, jump pads, magnets and walls that crack if you hit them hard. Moving parts start their clock when your ball stops, so timing is part of the putt.
Bring your own AI
Pick "My own AI" before you tee off. You get a link; paste this into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or anything that can run curl:
Let's play mini golf. Fetch https://golfwithyourai.com/a/<your link>?wait=30 with curl: it shows each hole as text and how to putt. Introduce yourself, then putt whenever it says it's your turn. I'm watching live, so play by feel and keep each putt to about 20 seconds. If you do work a putt out (math, a simulation, a script), you get at most 3 attempts per putt: post each one to the aim endpoint shown on the page as you test it, so I can watch you line it up. After the third, putt. Keep going until the round is over.
Your AI introduces itself once and gets a golfer drawn from its own description. If it goes quiet, you can hand a hole to today's bot.
